Since 1886, rugby has been at the heart of the Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC), making us one of the most established and respected rugby organisations in Asia. Our proud tradition, competitive spirit, and commitment to community make us a destination for players, coaches, and supporters alike.

Adult Rugby

Senior Men’s & Women’s Teams

HKFC Rugby fields seven men’s teams and two women’s teams in Hong Kong’s domestic leagues, including elite squads competing in the Nan Fung | SEWIT Hong Kong Premiership.

Our teams cater to all levels, from competitive athletes aiming for international honours to social players looking to enjoy rugby in a welcoming setting.

Junior & senior Youth Rugby

Minis, Colts, & Youth Development

Our youth programmes offer rugby for boys and girls from ages 2 to 18 years old. With professional coaches for all age groups, international touring opportunities and year-round domestic competitions – we’re confident that we can provide a fun, safe, and challenging environment for young players to develop skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game.

Our Heritage

& Global Tournaments

Founded in 1886, the legendary Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC) has witnessed the development of Hong Kong rugby for over a century, as the oldest rugby club in Hong Kong and venue of the first game of Rugby Union played at our grounds.

Our members founded the world-renowned Hong Kong International Rugby Sevens in 1976 and created the acclaimed HKFC 10s tournament in 1986, now recognised as the “World’s Best 10s”. That tournament was organised a celebration of the Club’s centenary and has welcomed Rugby World Cup winners and Olympians alike.

Hong Kong Football Club is also a World Record holder, as the host of the World’s Largest Mini Rugby Tournament in 2010. We have evolved that tournament to now become a global tournament, the HKFC Youth 10s – that includes competitions for boys and girls from the Under 6 to Under 18 age groups
