On June 13th, 2025, we once again partnered with our title sponsors, Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) to host our “Olympic Day” event. This annual tradition embodies the Olympic values of excellence, respect, and friendship through an engaging variety of sports activities and games.
Employees from Natixis CIB and Natixis Investment Managers were organized into 4 mixed teams, rotating through different stations featuring Basketball, Soccer, Touch Rugby Sevens, and Athletics. Each team competed for points with our professional coaches helping to referee, coach and even taking part themselves (Roshini Turner, Fion Got, Sam Groves, Izzy Littlehailes, Madison Hunting, and Georgina Tasker)!
Following the competitive activities, participants gathered in the Lockhart Room for lunch and an awards ceremony where the winners went home with complimentary HKFC Rugby Section merchandise, including SAMURAI backpacks & hats. The awards ceremony recognized:
· Most Valuable Player (MVP) for each sport
· Most Value Player (MVP) for the day
· The Winning Team
Since 2014, Natixis CIB’s unwavering support has been instrumental in the growth and success of our Rugby Section at both youth and senior levels. Their global partnership with the Olympic Games further demonstrates their dedication to promoting the values of sport worldwide.
